In 2004 Felix Brych was selected to start refereeing in the Bundesliga. He got his FIFA-badge in 2007. His first ever international match was a friendly between The Netherlands and Ireland also in 2007. In August 2007 his international career really took off in a Champions league qualifier.
In October 2008, a year and a half after he received his FIFA badge, Felix Brych officiated his first Champions League match.
Olympic Games 2012
Although Brych missed out on the Euro 2012 he is selected for the Olympic tournament and on the long list for the 2014 World Cup.
Cypriot Cup Final
After Roberto Rosetti in 2010, Massimo Busacca in 2011, the Cypriot Football Federation invited a very renowned international referee to officiate for its Cypriot Cup Final. Felix Brych was in charge of Omonia Nicosia vs AEL Limassol (1-0) played in Nicosia on May 16th 2012
